Don Kiepert, President and Chief Executive Officer
Don Kiepert is an experienced CEO and entrepreneur who has founded, led and created value for a variety of life sciences companies.
Mr. Kiepert has been President and CEO of Lantheus Medical Imaging, Inc. a worldwide leader in diagnostic imaging products based in North Billerica, Massachusetts, since 2008. He led the company’s successful transition from Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging to the independent, privately-held Lantheus Medical Imaging. During his tenure at Lantheus, he has expanded the company’s product portfolio through strategic acquisition, progressed new pipeline initiatives and driven supply chain diversification to increase availability of medical isotopes for diagnostic imaging.
From 1996 through 2007, Mr. Kiepert served as Chairman, President and CEO of Boston-based Point Therapeutics, Inc., a public biopharmaceutical company which he founded. Mr. Kiepert also established and served as President and CEO of Chartwell Home Therapies, of Waltham, Massachusetts. He served as President of Home Nutritional Services (HNS), a division of Healthdyne, Inc., in Pinebrook, New Jersey, and founded and led Pittsburgh-based West Penn Cares. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kiepert held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing with Baxter Travenol of Deerfield, Illinois.
Mr. Kiepert is a graduate of the Purdue University Pharmacy School, where he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees. He is a longtime resident of Massachusetts who currently resides with his family in Boston.

Larry Pickering, Chairman
Larry Pickering brings over 36 years of operating management experience to his role as Chairman of Lantheus Medical Imaging. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Pickering served as Chairman of DLJMB Global Healthcare Partners. He began his career in healthcare with Johnson and Johnson where he served in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. He served as President of Ortho Dermatology, President of Janssen Pharmaceuticals and Chairman of Janssen North America, Company Group Chairman, Worldwide OTC. His final position was Chairman of Johnson and Johnson Development corporation and was responsible for large mergers and acquisitions and a Corporate Officer. Mr. Pickering retired from Johnson & Johnson, where he served 32 years. He holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri. He is currently a Partner with Avista Capital and responsible for Healthcare Investments in this private equity firm.

Peter Card, Vice President, Corporate Development
Peter Card was appointed Vice President, Corporate Development of Lantheus Medical Imaging in 2008. Throughout his more than 20 years with the company and its predecessors, Mr. Card has held a variety of roles including Vice President, U.S. Marketing and Business Development. Most recently, Mr. Card served as Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. Mr. Card holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Ohio State University and completed additional post-doctoral work at Harvard University.

William Dawes, Vice President, Manufacturing and Operation
William Dawes was appointed Vice President, Manufacturing and Supply Chain of Lantheus Medical Imaging in 2008. He brings nearly 15 years of manufacturing expertise to his position, most recently serving as General Manager, Medical Imaging Technical Operations for Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging. Mr. Dawes began his career with DuPont Merck Pharmaceuticals where he built a strong operations background through positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of packaging, manufacturing and project engineering. Mr. Dawes received a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Hofstra University.

Michael P. Duffy, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Mike Duffy joined Lantheus Medical Imaging as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in 2008. Prior to joining Lantheus, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Point Therapeutics, Inc., a Boston-based biopharmaceutical company. He has also served as General Counsel and in other leadership positions for several technology companies in the Boston area and in Washington, D.C. Mr. Duffy began his legal career with Ropes & Gray in Boston and holds law degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Oxford University and an undergraduate degree from Harvard College.

Philip Lockwood, Vice President, Human Resources
Philip Lockwood brings more than two decades of service in senior Human Resources positions to his role as Vice President, Human Resources. He most recently served as Vice President, HR, for Indevus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. after holding a senior HR position at EMD Serono and its predecessor, Serono Inc. Mr. Lockwood holds a B.A. degree from Siena College and served as a lieutenant in U.S. Navy before starting his career in Human Resources.

Simon Robinson, Vice President, Research and Pharmaceutical Development
Simon Robinson has served as our Vice President Research and Pharmaceutical Development since 2010. He has held positions of increasing responsibility with the company for imaging agent discovery for more than 10 years. Dr. Robinson has more than 20 years of industrial experience in molecular targeted small molecule development with research positions at Bristol Myers Squibb, Sphinx Pharmaceuticals, BASF and Dupont Pharmaceuticals. He has a Ph.D. and B.Sc. in Pharmacology from the University of Leeds, England and did post-doctoral training at the University of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center.
Cyrille Villeneuve, Chief Commercial Officer
Cyrille Villeneuve has served Lantheus Medical Imaging and its predecessors for over 20 years, bringing program management expertise to his role as General Manager for the company’s operations in Canada, Latin America and the Pacific Rim. Prior to joining the company in 1985, Mr. Villeneuve held positions at the Montreal Heart Institute and Hospital Hotel-Dieu Montreal. He holds a B.A. from Montreal University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from ENAP.

Dana S. Washburn, M.D., Chief Medical Officer
Dana Washburn, M.D. joined Lantheus Medical Imaging in 2010 as Vice President, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs. Dr. Washburn brings to the company 15 years of leadership experience in cardiology, medical devices and diagnostics. Before joining Lantheus, he was Vice President, Clinical Trials and Safety, and Medical Safety Officer at Boston Scientific Corporation. Prior to his eight-year tenure at Boston Scientific, Dr. Washburn was a Cardiologist at the Framingham Heart Center and also served as Assistant Director of the Cardiovascular Hemodynamic and Imaging Laboratory at Tufts-New England Medical Center. Dr. Washburn holds an M.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Jeffrey E. Young, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Jeffrey Young was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January 2012. He previously served as Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Young joined Lantheus in the fall of 2008 as Global Controller. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Young spent several years at Critical Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company, most recently as Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Mr. Young also held positions of increasing responsibility at PerkinElmer and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Young is a CPA and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
